Dor Dourandi, NYC
Dor is a Program Manager at the NYC Technical Assistance Resource Center and a master’s student in Public and Social Policy. She supports afterschool programs across New York State through compliance, evaluation, and capacity building. Previously, Dor worked as a Compliance Associate at the Office of Food and Nutrition Services. Before stepping into compliance, she taught film and photography in youth programs and freelanced as an illustrator and photographer for local musicians. She also spent summers volunteering at Willie Mae Rock Camp for Girls, helping kids form bands, write songs, and perform — all in a week. With a background in Gender Studies and Psychology, Dor loves using art and music as tools for connection and youth development. She’s passionate about building relationships, strengthening programs through thoughtful evaluation and elevation — and never misses a chance to drop a dad joke.
