Nicholas Canino

Nicholas brings a variety of experiences that make him a highly qualified asset to the Afterschool Specialist position and the 21st CCLC movement at large. Nicholas is a licensed Master Social Worker earning his degree from SUNY Albany. His experience with program development, grant and project management, staff and community trainings, and community coalition building will be greatly beneficial  in the provision of technical assistance and professional development to Rest of State sub-grantees driven from the 3-prong tenets of the 21st CCLC program: academic enrichment, youth development and family educational services.

A lifelong Ulster County resident, who has actively been involved in the development of his community, he is big on volunteering and helping others. Most recently, he has volunteered  as a tutor at the local middle school and community youth center.

Please join me in welcoming Nicholas to New York State’s 21st CCLC afterschool team.
